Our Company

Balchen and Kulchycki Surveys is a Partnership between Bayne Balchen and Greg Molnar. The company was founded in 1963 by Bruce A. Balchen and commenced legal survey operations based out of our office in Dauphin, Manitoba as Balchen Surveys. In 1979 John Kulchycki joined the firm as a partner to form Balchen and Kulchycki Surveys. In 1997, Balchen and Kulchycki Surveys became a partnership between John S. Kulchycki and Bayne Balchen when, on June 1st, 1997, Mr. Bruce A. Balchen, M.L.S., S.L.S., C.L.S., sold his 50% partnership interest in the Company to his son Bayne. On January 1st, 2015, John Kulchycki sold his 50% partnership interest in the Company to Greg Molnar.

Our firm has been progressive since inception and is constantly upgrading technical equipment and recruiting personnel required to stay abreast of changing technology; thereby ensuring our ability to provide the most current professional services to our clients. The majority of our service area includes Central and Northern Manitoba.
